The way my body moves as I create my large drawings is somewhat theatrical in itself. But it’s rare that that I share this part of my practice publicly. To be a bit more intentional about how I use performance in my work I have incorporated spoken word and other physical elements as seen in, Heavy. My work is meant to take up space and grab the attention of the viewer, therefore it will always have some elements of performance.
